The developer and publisher has no intention of slowing down, as Microsoft is looking for a Senior Director with experience in business development, mergers, and acquisitions. This was reported by insider Idle Sloth:
“(FYI) Microsoft is looking for a Senior Director of Business Research with expertise in business development, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), finance, business management skills, and a track record of analytical research to join the management team.”
The corporation is unlikely to be planning another multi-billion-dollar deal anytime soon, as it continues to battle the Federal Trade Commission, which seeks to unwind Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard. However, the giant could acquire several smaller studios looking to develop games for Xbox Game Pass.
In recent years, there have been rumors about Microsoft's desire to acquire Nintendo, Valve, and Warner Bros.
