The “switchbreak!” community keeps track of an insider named Pyoro. Recently, he found himself in an awkward situation when he decided to share another batch of information.
While trying to tease announcements from Nintendo itself at a likely Partner Direct, he accidentally shared something else — in the process, Pyoro revealed his own location. If he wasn't using technical tricks, he was in Japan, Kyoto City, Minami Ward at the time of posting.
Pyoro brushed it off as a joke, claiming he was “Miyamoto” (referring to the renowned developer Shigeru Miyamoto).
Notably, Nintendo's headquarters are located in Kyoto.
