Xbox Game Pass will not get a promising game due to publisher change

The latest title from Baby Robot Games, despite an early announcement, will not be coming to the Xbox Game Pass catalogue.

Sometimes service plans change. For example, Ereban: Shadow Legacy will not be coming to the subscription.

Back in June 2022, Ereban: Shadow Legacy was announced. The game was supposed to be released on PC, Xbox, and Xbox Game Pass from day one.

However, much has changed since then: Raw Fury is no longer handling the release of Ereban: Shadow Legacy, which scuppers the game’s debut on Microsoft’s service. But the bad news does not stop there — so far, the developers have been focused exclusively on the PC version.

“Due to recent changes in our partnership with publisher Raw Fury, the release of Ereban: Shadow Legacy on Xbox and day one addition to Game Pass have been cancelled. Rest assured, however, that we will do our best to bring Ereban to Xbox as soon as possible.”

The situation regarding the stealth game has changed – Ereban: Shadow Legacy will release on PC on April 10, followed by an Xbox release. But right now, you shouldn’t expect the game to be offered within Xbox Game Pass.

This case shows that a lot can happen even after Microsoft signs a contract with a publisher.
