EGS kicks off giveaway of a “budget Atomic Heart” and a dark comedy RPG

Epic Games Store continues to provide players with a diverse selection of titles. An opportunity has arrived to get acquainted for free with the RPG LISA: The Painful and INDUSTRIA

Another giveaway has started in the Epic Games Store. This time, users can add two games to their library at once.

For instance, you can grab INDUSTRIA — for some players, this project became a “budget Atomic Heart” (or something like Half-Life). The game is pitched as a first-person shooter that transports players from East Berlin into a parallel reality shortly before the end of the Cold War:

“On the evening of the fall of the Berlin Wall, a young woman plunges headlong into a parallel dimension to find her missing work colleague who disappeared under mysterious circumstances. While the checkpoints in East Berlin are still being overrun by crowds of people, Nora flees this world into unknown layers of time and into fate.”

LISA: The Painful is also on offer: “a miserable, side-scrolling RPG full of dark humor, absurd plot twists, and nightmarish stories. Embark on a harrowing journey through the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Olathe. Beneath its charming facade lies a world full of disgust and moral depravity, where you will be forced to learn what kind of person you are by making choices that permanently affect the gameplay. Sacrifice yourself to keep your party members alive: take hits for them, lose limbs, and endure other inhuman tortures. In this world, you will learn that selfishness and heartlessness are the only ways to survive...”
