Microsoft boss welcomes game releases for PlayStation and Switch. Satya Nadella confirmed an excellent result

During a meeting with journalists, the head of Microsoft admitted that sales results will help decide whether to continue adding the company’s games to the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch libraries in the future.

The official results are not yet known, but during the presentation of the corporation’s quarterly results, Satya Nadella did not hide that releasing games on competing platforms was a good decision:

“We are finally expanding our games to new platforms, bringing four of our games to Nintendo Switch and Sony PlayStation fans for the first time. Moreover, earlier this month, seven of our games were among the top 25 best-selling games in the PlayStation Store — more than any other publisher.”

The list includes games such as Call of Duty, Overwatch 2, and Fallout, which entered Microsoft’s catalog following the acquisition of Activision Blizzard and Bethesda, but ultimately, it is Xbox that earns money from them.
