“Looks like a remake”. Comparison highlights significant graphical improvements in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster

Dead Rising was released in 2006 for the Xbox 360 console, and 10 years later the game launched on PC/PS4/Xbox One. The corporation decided the game deserved another update and announced Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster.

Blogger ElAnalistaDeBits specializes in creating graphical comparisons. He prepared a dedicated video showcasing significant differences between the original version and Deluxe Remaster. The 2016 version is not shown here, but essentially it differs very little from the X360 release.

Many comments can be found online claiming that Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster looks like a remake. Recent remasters have accustomed players to modest improvements that amounted to increased resolution and frame rate. Dead Rising will offer far more changes.

However, not everyone is happy with the protagonist’s appearance. For some, Frank West looks 20–30 years older.
