Arma 3 sales set an all-time record during the Steam Summer Sale. Bohemia released a tutorial for 500,000 newcomers

Arma 3 continues to delight enthusiasts for many years. Another massive influx of players has occurred.

The major Steam Summer Sale recently took place, where Arma 3 became a hit. The military simulator and its DLCs were purchased very, very actively at a discount.

To mark the arrival of over 500,000 newcomers, the creators of Arma 3 decided to release a mini-tutorial. Bohemia Interactive presented a “user guide” on Steam, as the game offers many features and it is easy to get confused on first acquaintance.

A new record was set on one of the sale days—Arma 3 was purchased 98,500 times in 24 hours, the highest figure in the entire history of the game, which was released more than ten years ago (in March 2013).

Arma 3 is not only about the base content and numerous premium expansions, but also a rich collection of all kinds of fan-made modifications—featuring support for the Steam Workshop. Some mod projects may later be released as paid DLC under the “Creator DLC” program, as previously happened with Spearhead 1944.
