Translated with AI from the Russian original.
The franchise did not end with Dynasty Warriors 9 after all. Koei Tecmo is preparing to return with a new game.
Dynasty Warriors Origins has been brought back into the spotlight. This time, Koei Tecmo decided to participate in ChinaJoy 2024 and hold an extended gameplay showcase.
As in previous installments of the franchise, Dynasty Warriors Origins will feature battles against countless enemies. While the developers experimented with an open world in DW 9, DW Origins will feature a “limited” world, and the local “world map” will provide access to equipment, and so forth.
Dynasty Warriors Origins is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2025.
