Kena: Bridge of Spirits is an adventure that was well received by gamers in September 2021, but bypassed Microsoft consoles. Soon, Xbox owners will be able to play it.
In an interview, the developers revealed what kind of performance players can expect. The news is unexpected, as the Xbox version could be significantly better than the PlayStation one.
Kena is expected to run on Xbox Series X at 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. Series S will also get 4K resolution, but performance will be capped at 30 frames. This is unexpected, since the PS5 has only two graphics modes: resolution (4K 30FPS) and quality (~1440p 60FPS).
It is likely dynamic resolution, but the target 4K and 60 FPS on Series X are still impressive.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits will be released on August 15, 2024, on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. The developers do not currently plan to add the game to Xbox Game Pass.
