Irina Savina, wife of voice actor Boris Bystrov, announced his death.
Many players may know the actor for his role in the domestic shooter Atomic Heart — he voiced Academician Lebedev, a character from the Annihilation Instinct expansion, who is
“One of the scientists in Academician Sechenov's cohort. Head of the 'Radio of the Future' department of the Academy of Consequences and the formal head of the Academy itself. He is the creator of the Eleanor repair station [the 'red refrigerator']”.
Boris Bystrov was also involved in voicing many other characters in films and TV series, for instance making his mark as Homer Simpson in “The Simpsons”, numerous characters in “Futurama”, Alfred in “The Dark Knight” trilogy, Emperor Palpatine in “Star Wars”, Magneto in “X-Men”, and more.
