CD Projekt RED made Cyberpunk 2077 more technologically advanced. The quality of implementation leaves much to be desired, but an enthusiast’s solution is available.

Cyberpunk 2077 recently received an update with official AMD FSR 3 support. Judging by user feedback, players were disappointed with the image quality — version 3 has displeased a notable portion of the community.

Officially, players were offered an “outdated version” of the technology, but a more modern alternative exists — modder artur07305 implemented AMD FSR 3.1 back in May 2024.

Against the backdrop of the less-than-stellar Cyberpunk 2077 update release, the FSR3 Frame Gen for Cyberpunk 2077 (DLSS Enabler 2077 Edition) modification has seen a surge in popularity. Many are praising the modder’s work while criticizing the specialists at CD Projekt RED.
