Access to IGN and How Long To Beat websites with news and game completion times restored for Russians and Belarusians

Recent regional restrictions surprised many. The owner of several Western publications decided to block the websites in a number of regions, and now the decision has been reconsidered.

Recently, users from Russia and Belarus were surprised to discover that access to the IGN and How Long To Beat websites had been cut off. This was done not by a local regulator, but by the owner of the resources.

Ziff Davis, which owns various publications, for some reason decided to restrict access specifically to these two websites. About a month later, something happened — users noticed that IGN and How Long To Beat were accessible again from “sanctioned” regions.

A representative of the How Long To Beat team reported the lifting of restrictions.
