Dungeon RPG Wizardry Variants Daphne gets a release date, but so far only on mobile

The Wizardry franchise has been delighting RPG fans for more than 40 years. Now there is a reason to recall Wizardry Variants Daphne.

Recently, Wizardry Variants Daphne received a release date in the App Store. It was stated that it might come out on October 31, 2024.

However, the developers of Wizardry Variants Daphne then stepped forward and announced a different date — barring any changes, the release will take place on October 15.

Wizardry Variants Daphne is a dungeon crawler (a role-playing game about a group of characters exploring dungeons). The game can be found on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android); earlier information surfaced about plans for a Steam release, but the PC launch date has not yet been specified.

The Wizardry franchise itself has a long history that began back in 1981. To this day, it enjoys popularity, with various games and updated versions continuing to appear.
