Yakuza series games to get an exclusive release. Sega teams up with Limited Run Games

Starting October 24, fans of the series will be able to check out the TV series from Amazon Prime Video. In addition, an updated version of Yakuza Kiwami will be released on Nintendo Switch.

Sega is taking the opportunity to introduce a new audience to the series, which is why digital storefronts offer so-called starter packs and a bundle featuring all mainline entries in the Yakuza series. The publisher hasn’t forgotten about boxed edition fans either. The company partnered with Limited Run Games, under which all games carrying the Yakuza name (0–6) will receive new physical editions.

First up are Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami, which can be ordered on the store’s website until November 10 in either a standard box ($34.99) or the so-called Classic Edition ($74.99). In the case of Yakuza 0, it includes:

  • Physical copy of the game / Steam key;
  • Slipcover box;
  • Soundtrack;
  • Collectible acrylic standee;
  • Character cards;
  • Keyring.

The Yakuza Kiwami Classic Edition includes:

  • Physical copy of Yakuza Kiwami (PC Classic Edition comes with a Steam key);
  • Premium slipcover box;
  • Soundtrack;
  • Collectible acrylic standee.

Shipping will take place between March 1 and March 31, 2025. Those who decide to purchase the game will receive a commemorative slipcase for the 7 branded Yakuza releases, which will be sold separately, as a pre-order bonus.
