TASS noted that the Russian subsidiary of Sony Mobile Communications, “Soni Mobayl Kommyunikeyshnz Rus”, is being liquidated. A corresponding application was filed recently.
As noted, as of the end of 2023, only one person was employed at the Russian subsidiary — the CEO, Belarusian citizen Anatoly Mashkov.
Although Sony suspended the PlayStation Store operations, shipments of its consoles and games to Russia, and deliveries to dealers in 2022, the Russian legal entity “Soni Elektroniks” is still active.
