Fortnite Rocket Racing creators say goodbye to themed updates, project launched less than a year ago

Based on Fortnite, the developers have introduced various projects, including the Rocket Racing arcade racer.

Fortnite is no longer just a battle royale, but a platform game used to create other projects. One of them was Rocket Racing — launched in December 2023.

Less than a year later, Epic Games announced that the Rocket Racing team is “saying goodbye” to themed updates. Nevertheless, the announcement notes that upcoming updates are expected to include new tracks, customization items, and other content.

“In [update] 31.40, we are returning to the starting line and saying goodbye to ‘Inferno Island’ and themed updates. Future updates will bring new tracks and an adjusted ranked racing period, refreshed quests, and additional car items that will help you stand out from your rivals!

New creator-made tracks are released every day, so you will have plenty of places to test drifts, flips, and flying. You can find an endless number of new races, and if you want to try your hand at UEFN, you can even create them!”
