Tim Schafer has returned to the 15-year-old Brutal Legend — he can help players unlock a rare achievement

Some players still remember Brutal Legend to this day. The developers have not forgotten about the project either.

October 13 marks the 15th anniversary of Brutal Legend. Double Fine Productions and fans are celebrating this milestone.

In honor of Brutal Legend's birthday, an event is being held — Tim Schafer himself, the studio's founder, dropped into the game:

“This weekend is the 13th Rocktober, marking 15 years since the release of Brutal Legend.

As he has for many years, Tim Schafer will be playing multiplayer matches on Xbox. Jump in on Sunday and you might face the head of the company himself!

Will you win, though...?”.

Brutal Legend players have the opportunity to earn the rare "viral" achievement “Six Degrees of Schafer: Played with or against another player who has this trophy”.
