CD Keys is a popular third-party platform that sells digital keys for games and subscriptions at relatively low prices. As can be seen in the image below, the one-month Game Pass Ultimate has become a fresh bestseller.
Right after number four is a similar Game Pass offer, but with two additional months. The top 5 bestsellers also include a key for the game itself. This suggests that Xbox’s strategy of launching the game in the subscription service has worked.
Analysts believe the game could increase Game Pass subscription numbers by up to 4 million. While this forecast may be overly optimistic, it does not seem impossible, especially now. There were concerns that the release of Call of Duty on the subscription service would harm series sales, but, for instance, on Steam yesterday's game peak exceeded 306 thousand concurrent players.
