Developers revealed Phasmophobia specs on Xbox Series S|X and PS5. 120fps mode only on Series X

According to the announcement by Kinetic Games, performance and balanced modes on both consoles will target 4k and 60fps.

However, with a compatible display, Xbox Series X will even support 120fps, while on Series S the game will run in 1080p and 60fps mode.

Thus, Xbox Series X is optimized better for the game than PS5, which hasn’t happened since Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Phasmophobia will also be released on PS VR 2, getting a 120 Hz playback rate and a 60 Hz refresh rate.

Phasmophobia will arrive on the aforementioned platforms on October 29, 2024.
