Fortnite Battle Pass will become more expensive
Translated with AI from the Russian original.
Epic Games has announced significant changes to Fortnite concerning the Battle Pass and the Fortnite Crew subscription. The subscription will now offer significantly more perks for the same price, while the cost of a pass purchased separately will increase, which has never happened before in the game’s history.
For many years, the Battle Pass could be purchased for 950 V-Bucks, but Epic Games has decided to raise its price: players will now have to spend 1,000 V-Bucks.
The new price will take effect on December 1, 2024, and it is still unknown how the gaming community will react to the increase.
“The real-money price of V-Bucks will remain the same, and you can still earn V-Bucks through leveling up,” says Epic.
As for Fortnite Crew, it can be purchased for $11.99 per month and grants access to the Battle Pass, 1,000 V-Bucks, monthly skins, and other perks; however, starting December 1, Fortnite Crew will also include the Music Pass and the LEGO Pass at no extra cost. When new passes appear in Fortnite, they will also be added to the Fortnite Crew subscription, including the new Fortnite OG pass.
