The game will be released in 2025 as free-to-play on Steam, but early tests are an opportunity to learn about the project’s development and share your feedback.
Following the first alpha test in August 2024, developer 1047 Games promised to make numerous changes to Splitgate 2 based on the feedback received. Improvements include the ability to sprint while reloading for all factions and a slightly increased TTK (time to kill). The company is also working on larger-scale changes, such as bigger and more vertical maps.
Those interested can fill out a short survey, specifying their preferred platform, keyboard and mouse or controller, and the number of completed games (if any). 1047 Games states that those who filled out the form for the previous playtest do not need to reapply.
