Recent changes in the Microsoft Store point to the arrival of several modern entries. Titles released between 2013 and 2015 have been spotted — Call of Duty: Ghosts, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
The latter two are particularly noteworthy. Advanced Warfare from Sledgehammer Games became the last installment in the franchise to feature timed DLC exclusivity for Xbox — they would appear on other platforms only 30 days later. However, with the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, the situation shifted, and Sony took the leading position with exclusivity deals.
The addition of Call of Duty games to the Microsoft Store can be viewed as preparation for a major update to the Xbox Game Pass library. If the information from insider eXtas1s is confirmed, service subscribers will soon be able to refresh their memories of the franchise’s golden era.
