The game received low user ratings across all platforms. The average rating on Steam stands at 43%, on Metacritic — 5.1 out of 10, and in the Xbox Store — 4 out of 10. This is one of the lowest scores among AAA releases in 2024.
A week ago, a major patch was released that was supposed to improve Career mode and fix bugs. However, despite partial fixes, the update introduced new errors. Players on Xbox Series X and PC are complaining about freezes, issues with button and accessory configuration, poor performance, and severe bugs in Career mode.
Developers at Asobo Studio stated that updates will not be released until January as part of Sim Update 1. Until then, fans will have to put up with the existing issues, even over the holidays.
