Will Elflock challenge Kingdom Come 2? Watching the trailer for a medieval adventure on Unreal Engine 5

NovaSphera Studio has unveiled the first trailer for Elflock, scheduled for release in 2025. It is another project, alongside Kingdom Come 2, dedicated to an in-depth exploration of the medieval theme.

The Elflock trailer showcases not only cutscenes, but also several fragments of gameplay. The game is positioned as a single-player third-person adventure story and is being developed on Unreal Engine 5.

The plot revolves around a young princess trying to survive amidst court intrigues and manipulations. The nobles want to push the country into a devastating war, and the heroine must help the king make crucial decisions by conducting her own investigation. Unlike conventional medieval games, Elflock features no combat — the emphasis is placed on story, dialogue, puzzles, and elements of classic adventure quests.

A demo version will be available on Steam by mid-2025. The full release is expected on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
