Freedom Wars will return in January. Updated version with a new difficulty level and improved gameplay

The remastered edition of Freedom Wars from Bandai Namco is preparing for release on January 10. A new trailer revealed numerous improvements for both newcomers and veterans of the game.

The main changes since the PS Vita era include increased movement speed and the ability to cancel animations when using Thorns. Controls can be fully remapped to your preferences, and modules used to strengthen weapons have become separate items — they can be freely attached and removed.

One of the key innovations is the addition of the Module Synthesis system, which allows players to upgrade modules. The chances of success increase if rescued citizens assist. For challenge seekers, a new difficulty mode called Deadly Sinner has been introduced: any infraction increases the protagonist’s prison sentence.

The game includes all previously released cosmetic DLCs for character customization. The remaster’s graphics have been significantly improved — supporting 4K resolution and 60 frames per second.
