Developers postponed beta testing
Recently, two major expansions, Harvest and Delirium, appeared on Path of Exile servers, so fans of the game don't have to be bored. But if you dream of seeing a full-fledged sequel as soon as possible, then we have bad news.
Path of Exile 2 beta testing was supposed to start at the end of 2020, but the developers released a statement emphasizing that this will not happen this year. The delay is due to the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the authors are confident that expansions for the original will appear on time. The creation of Harvest took 14 weeks, which means the next updates should be expected in September and December.
Grinding Gear Games emphasizes that the upcoming league is much larger than Harvest, but the developers started work a month earlier and will manage to launch on time.
