28 out of 30 bestsellers are games for Switch. Nintendo continues to dominate in Japan

2025 has started for Nintendo as successfully as 2024 ended. The company has long captured the Japanese market, leaving competitors far behind.

На первой неделе нового года, с 30 декабря 2024 по 5 января 2025, 28 из 30 самых продаваемых физических версий игр - проекты для Nintendo Switch.

Единственными исключениями стали Astro Bot и Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake для PS5, но даже они не смогли ослабить лидирующих позиций Nintendo. Более того, 15 игр из топа выпущены самой компанией, что ещё раз подтверждает её доминирование в данном регионе.

Super Mario Party Jamboree, появившаяся 17 октября 2024 года, преодолела рубеж в 1 миллион проданных физических копий. А Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, стартовавшая в 2022 году, достигла 5,5 миллионов копий.
