Will Switch 2 cost 90 thousand rubles in Russia? Former head of “Nintendo Russia” Yasha Haddaji predicts a lower price

The Nintendo Switch 2 will also be brought to Russia, but many gamers fear that the price will increase significantly along the way.

The publication “Izvestia” published an article dedicated to the announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2. It cites analyst comments on the potential price of the device in Russia.

Various prices are mentioned: some expect 90 thousand rubles, while others predict 70 thousand at launch with a subsequent decrease to 50 thousand rubles.

Speaking out was also the former head of “Nintendo Russia”, founder of the company “Achivka” Yasha Haddaji — he shared his vision of the Switch 2 price:

“I expect that in Europe the console will cost no more than 500 euros. To this amount, it is necessary to add 5% for logistics expenses, 10% for state duty expenses, and factor in the current ruble exchange rate at the launch of sales. If the console went on sale today, after all taxes its price would reach 65 thousand rubles.”
