Russian voiceover for Kingdom Come Deliverance received a major update, and a full AI localization was announced for KCD 2

It's hard to expect a full Russian localization for some games, but in the case of Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 and 2, modern technology comes to the rescue.

Tech enthusiast SynthVoiceRu, who previously released Russian neural voiceovers for Baldur's Gate 3 and Disco Elysium, has also prepared a localization for the first installment of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Recently, he presented a major update for it.

One of the subscribers financially supported SynthVoiceRu's work on KCD 1:

“Good news! One of my subscribers (Dmitry), who apparently is a big fan of KCD, donated almost the entire required amount to update KCD with the new SV2 model.

Now all of us have the opportunity to replay KCD with a completely new voiceover ahead of the release of KCD 2.”

The Russian neural voiceover for Kingdom Come: Deliverance is available in two formats — dubbing and voice-over. As before, it is distributed free of charge via SynthVoiceRu's Boosty account.

SynthVoiceRu also confirmed plans to create a Russian AI voiceover for the sequel Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, scheduled for release on February 4, 2025.
