GTA Vice City played on the Russian Elbrus 8CB processor

Towards the end of January, gamers were given plenty of reasons to remember GTA Vice City. The game is being tested on the Elbrus 8CB.

Recently, Grand Theft Auto Vice City received a Russian voice-over by GamesVoice, as well as an updated GTA VC Nextgen Edition version powered by the Rage engine from GTA 4.

The YouTube channel Elbrus PC Play decided to revisit GTA Vice City — launching the game on the Russian processor Elbrus 8CB. The version of the game used is the re3 reverse-engineering project, which was blocked by publisher Take-Two, yet the project can still be found online (though it is no longer being developed).

GTA Vice City generally runs at a stable 60 FPS, with GPU load typically within 5-10%, and CPU load at 10-20%.
