“You'll be blown away”: VLADiK BRUTAL is no longer a set of stock assets! Shooter model overhaul shown, new project being developed in parallel

Post-release support for VLADiK BRUTAL continues. The shooter's in-game models will soon look better.

Recently, the creator of VLADiK BRUTAL made headlines again. Originally, he developed the shooter alone and used various ready-made assets, which outraged some gamer connoisseurs.

However, now everything is changing — a new patch is in the works, and the models are being overhauled:

“There is an extreme amount of work on the patch, I decided to replace many purchased and free generic assets with my own unique ones, the process is very long and extremely expensive, but work is underway, attaching screenshots from the workshop.

I can't keep up with anything at all, everything is slipping out of my hands, sometimes there isn't even a spare minute. Not only are we making a major patch, but in parallel we're developing a new project, plus I still manage to deal with moving and building a small house, as well as legal issues.”

Thanks to community support, the developer was able to relocate and will continue creating:

“....after Siberia and one of the most crime-ridden cities, Krasnodar feels like a kind of paradise to me personally; in this new place, I will make wonderful projects in a relaxed vibe, though right now it's a bit lonely, no connections or friends, but that's just a matter of time.

Writing news posts for every prop or model is a bit tedious in my opinion and there's no time, wholesome home news like this is better. I miss media activity too, once everything wraps up and settles down, I'll publish updates more actively, but you guys will be totally blown away by the upcoming new project, you definitely haven't seen anything like it, so let's wait, all the most interesting stuff is still ahead.”
