Gacha game fans continue to track the financial performance of various titles in the genre. Data for February 2025 was recently released.
miHoYo (HoYoverse) has three projects on the list, and all of them are seeing a decline in revenue.
- Honkai Star Rail — fourth place, down from $50.8 million to $46.5 million.
- Genshin Impact — sixth place, drop from $99+ million to $26.3 million (previously surged due to Mavuika banner)
- Zenless Zone Zero — eighth place, down from $26.3 million to $17.9 million.
Updates featuring new characters will soon be released for Genshin, ZZZ, and HSR, so in the foreseeable future, revenues for miHoYo games should increase noticeably.
The leader among gacha games in February 2025 was Pokemong TCG Pocket with $79 million, followed by Love and Deepspace in second place with $49.5 million, and Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle rounding out the top three with $47 million.
