Following the release of a recent Diablo 4 update, the developers began receiving reports from players regarding client performance issues (it closes periodically)
Blizzard Entertainment determined that the problem occurs on PCs with NVIDIA graphics cards and addressed those affected:
“We have identified an issue that is causing game client crashes for players using NVIDIA graphics cards. While work on a fix is underway, we advise all NVIDIA users to update their drivers to version 572.60. Thank you for your patience.”
