Recently, the localization studio Cool-Games brought Mortal Kombat 1 back into the spotlight. They released a game movie with Russian voice acting:
Cool-Games presented the voice acting for the main part of the fighting game, shared their achievements and plans, and also announced a fundraiser for additional work:
“The Mortal Kombat 1 game movie for PARAFRAGOFF is now available!
COOL-GAMES is thrilled to announce the release of the long-awaited game movie for our colleagues from PARAFRAGOFF! If you want to dive into the adrenaline of fights, bloody special moves, and the epic story of Mortal Kombat 1 — this is your chance!
Why it’s better:
— The packaging and voice acting surpassed our previous MK11 project!
— Watch it right now — full story voice acting (except for in-between battle lines) on our channel
— The first build will be released on March 10 on Boosty — don't miss it!
What's next?
In-between battle lines will be added later — we are launching a fundraiser for this. Your support will help us finish the work!
80 cutscenes — almost like in GTA4! This is the most massive editing project from our team.”
They also noted that “work on MK11 is ongoing, albeit slowly — we’re not stopping!”.
