Microsoft preparing new game ports for PS5 and Switch 2 — insider

Microsoft continues to release games on competing platforms. According to insider Tom Warren, the company will bring a new batch of games from Xbox to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 in 2025.

Previously, Microsoft released projects such as Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, Sea of Thieves, and Grounded on PS5. In April, Forza Horizon 5 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will arrive on Sony’s console. But according to Warren, this is just the beginning — the list of games that will lose their exclusivity will expand significantly.

Among the possible candidates for porting are Microsoft Flight Simulator, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Hellblade 2, Starfield (a PlayStation logo recently appeared on the official website), and Gears of War. Rumors about a Gears remaster have been circulating for several months, but there have been no official comments from Microsoft.

The question remains which of these games might appear on Nintendo Switch 2. While there is no confirmed information yet, Microsoft is clearly planning an aggressive expansion of the audience for its projects.
