Some enthusiasts wanted to test inZOI on the Steam Deck. Launching it is possible, but there are a few nuances.
The creator of the Deck Wizard YouTube channel showed the path to the “GameUserSetting.ini” file, where in the line “FullscreenMode = 0” you need to set the value to “1”.
Before launching the game, make sure that GE Proton9 -26 is selected in Steam’s “Properties”.
In the settings of inZOI itself, the blogger suggests setting 30 FPS as the target and maximum value, enabling dynamic resolution, and turning off ray tracing and motion blur. You also need to set all settings to “very low”, and TSR anti-aliasing is recommended.
At least for now, there is an issue with saves in inZOI on the Steam Deck: during the saving process, RAM consumption skyrockets, and there is a risk of losing progress.
