“He didn’t die at the end of the raid”: creators of Escape from Tarkov showed a short film in the spirit of “Drive”

Escape from Tarkov can inspire creative endeavors. Gamers appreciated the reference.

A variety of content is released for the Escape from Tarkov universe. Recently, the developers presented a short film to the community.

The video published by Battlestate Games easily reveals a reference to “Drive” starring Ryan Gosling and the meme “he didn’t die at the end of the movie” (while some also recall “Blade Runner 2049”).

EFT fans adapted the meme to reflect the specifics of the game — there are two versions:

• “He didn’t die at the end of the raid …”.
• “He didn’t die at the start of the raid...

Oh wait, that’s right”.
