The original Monster Train was released in 2020 and received high scores – 86% from outlets and 80% from players. The project’s success led to the development of a sequel, which was announced in February. Back then, key new features and gameplay footage were showcased, but without an exact release date. Now it has been revealed.
Monster Train 2 will remain a “roguelike” with card-battler mechanics. The developers promised five new clans, dozens of fresh cards, and other improvements. Closer to the release, additional details will be shared, including new modes and expanded gameplay capabilities.
