5060 Ti will launch cheaper than RTX 4060 Ti — rumor

NVIDIA has seemingly settled on the MSRP for the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card. According to Board Channels, the company notified its partners: the 8 GB model will be priced at $379, while the 16 GB version will cost $429.

If the information is confirmed, the RTX 5060 Ti will be cheaper than the RTX 4060 Ti, which launched at $399. This makes the new card more appealing to gamers, especially considering that similar performance is expected. At the same time, the 16 GB model is a better deal than last year’s RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB, which was priced at $449.

The RTX 5060 Ti will also turn out more affordable than the 2020 RTX 3060 Ti, which started at $399. The standard RTX 5060 might also see a similar price cut, although there has been no official announcement yet. As a reminder, rumors suggested both cards were supposed to launch in March, but the release was delayed, and leaks have virtually dried up.

The Blackwell-based RTX 50 series got off to a rocky start — drivers and supply issues. NVIDIA is clearly trying to reignite interest in the lineup with sensible mid-range pricing. If the company keeps the price under $400, it will help offset audience disappointment.
