Today Microsoft will release Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition with a Chinese expansion on PlayStation

Starting today, PlayStation 5 owners will be able to play a game from Microsoft’s studio — an event that will delight all strategy fans. Although the company unveiled the remake of Gears of War: Reloaded for Xbox Series, PC, and PS5 the day before, today is about another project.

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is officially launching on PS5 — previously, only owners of the advanced edition had access to it. The developers announced that the game will become available at 20:00 Moscow time.

Microsoft has also prepared an additional surprise — a new expansion launches alongside the base version. The DLC with the “Three Kingdoms” campaign will become available simultaneously on all platforms.

Players are invited to build their own empire, leave a mark on history, and explore the new content.
