Battlefield 2042 creators nerfed AI opponents and brought back a Dead Space-style event

While the new installment is in the works, the developers haven’t forgotten about Battlefield 2042.

A minor May update 8.7.0 has been introduced for Battlefield 2042. The developers introduced balance tweaks and more.

Some of the changes:

  • AI soldiers are now less effective at firing vehicle weapons at fast-moving or direction-changing vehicles.
  • Updated several maps (to prevent issues from occurring)
  • Exposure - Hazard Zone — added assets to block a door that was not intended to be accessible.
  • Weapon balance changes and bug fixes.

A Dead Space-style event has also returned to Battlefield 2042.
