The real challenge was maintaining performance and integrating Switch 2 features. The developers prioritized stable gameplay, even though they had to slightly scale back the graphics. According to Rosner, this did not affect the overall atmosphere of the game.
The Switch 2 version is tailored to the device’s features: it supports the gyroscope for precise aiming, touchscreen controls, as well as full gameplay in both handheld and docked modes. The entire game will be on a single 64 GB cartridge, with no need to download anything. This was done for the convenience of users who value ease of launch.
Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will be priced at $69.99 — both in digital format and on physical media.
