Starfield received a May beta patch with settings for low-end PCs and optimization — first performance tests

Starfield is gradually being refined after release. Bethesda is paying attention to the technical state of the game.

In May, Bethesda decided to return to Starfield. Beta testing has begun for patch 1.15.214, which introduces a number of technical fixes and more.

Some changes and new features:

  • The official Creation Kit modding tool now supports mods up to 2 GB in size
  • The Creations Store now supports combining mods (you can make bundles).
  • “Very Low” graphics settings have been added for low-end PCs.
  • Support for 32:9 and 32:10 aspect ratio displays, as well as 16:9, 16:10, and 21:9 options.
  • The vehicle marker will now be displayed on the compass.
  • Various bug fixes and performance improvements.

Some have already tested the new version of Starfield and noted performance improvements.
