An unknown console spotted in the GTA 6 trailer. Fans have already dubbed it “PS6”

Following the release of the second GTA 6 trailer, gamers have been actively analyzing every scene, trying to find hints about the franchise’s future. One such discovery is a mysterious console that resembles a smaller version of the PlayStation 5.

The trailer was officially captured on PS5, and it seems Sony has once again secured priority in promoting the game. Rumors circulate that PS5 and PS5 Pro bundles with pre-installed GTA 6 will go on sale — this has not yet been confirmed, but it looks plausible.

Attention was drawn not only to the game itself, but also to shots featuring an unknown device. It visually differs from the standard PS5 — smaller, more compact, and with a different design. Another shot shows a controller resembling a hybrid of DualShock and DualSense. Gamers immediately speculated that Rockstar is hinting at Sony’s next console — the PlayStation 6.

Social media has already been flooded with memes about a future GTA 6 remaster for the next generation — ironically pointing out that GTA 5 managed to come out across three generations. Even IGN highlighted the unusual detail, but called it simply one of the PS5 models. Fans, however, are convinced: Rockstar is already looking toward the new console.
