Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 developers discuss Nintendo Switch 2 port

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has become one of the year’s most successful releases. In two weeks, the game sold over 2 million copies, and Sandfall Interactive is already considering new platforms.

Studio head Guillaume Broche answered a question in an interview about a possible version for Nintendo Switch 2. He did not give a definitive confirmation, but stated that such a move “could definitely be interesting.” This indicates the team’s potential openness to porting the role-playing game to Nintendo’s upcoming console.

Given the successful launch, a port to Switch 2 looks like a logical step. Sandfall Interactive and publisher Kepler Interactive could leverage the game’s popularity to reach a broader audience, including users of the new hybrid console.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Given the developers’ interest, a Switch 2 version might be just a matter of time.
