Photographer Ekaterina Morpheeva and cosplayer Ilya "Zektornis" Shevchenko decided to transport people to the dark and tragic universe of the Max Payne franchise, where the protagonist, who has gone through a path of revenge, tries to correct the mistakes he could not prevent in the past.
During another photoshoot, Ilya embodied the image of Max Payne from the third part of the series.
Max left the New York Police. He plunged into alcoholism and addiction to painkillers, which became his only way to drown out the pain from the loss of his wife, daughter, and Mona Sax.
This part of his life is not just depression, it is self-destruction. Trying to start all over again, he accepts his old friend's offer to become a bodyguard in São Paulo.
Max Payne 3 is a story about how a person struggles with himself. It is a dark but very personal finale for an iconic character.
