However, enthusiasm quickly waned after the announcement of exclusivity on the Epic Games Store. Users emphasized that the lack of a Steam launch complicates access to the project for the community.
Tyminski stated that the collaboration with Epic Games was crucial for the project's development. The company invested significant funds, which allowed the studio to maintain full creative control over the game and brand. Special attention was paid to working with Unreal Engine 5, which helped offer players a unique experience at launch, different from the first installment in 2023.
The President of CI Games emphasized that the decision about exclusivity allowed the studio to maintain independence and secured funding for the further development of the franchise. He promised that new details about the game's release date would appear soon.
