The opening ceremony of Gamescom 2025, «Opening Night Live», recently took place. As it turned out, it attracted increased interest from viewers.
Host and producer Geoff Keighley shared some metrics:
«This year, Gamescom set new records.
The number of ONL viewers increased by 80% compared to last year and exceeded 72 million views.
Gamescom 2025 was attended by more than 357,000 people, compared to 335,000 in 2024».
Opening Night Live featured games such as: Resident Evil Requiem, Black Myth: Zhong Kui, Lords of the Fallen 2, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
