The Nameless Hero still hides secrets of the past, and one of them, related to his true identity, will lead him on a dangerous mission. It will send the player to unexplored areas of Sigil and the depths of the Nine Hells, up to the eighth layer — the Frozen Waste of Cania, and then even further. The danger comes not only from the harsh environment, but also from the eternal cold war between the Lords of the Hells.
The mod has been developed for almost two years by only three enthusiasts — Szef, FallDamage312, and Wrathu. In an interview, they revealed details of the project:
- the mod is designed for high-level characters, access will open after returning from Tartarus;
- an option to "skip" is provided for those who do not want to replay the game from the beginning;
- the first act (demo) will add over 20 locations and 100 characters;
- the plot is written by the authors taking into account the canonical endings of Planescape and D&D;
- new cutscenes will appear in the game, the number of which is constantly growing;
- two companions will be added in the second act;
- an original soundtrack is being created, without borrowing music from the original.
The demo will be released for Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition in 2025. The full version may be ready by 2031, although the developers hope to finish earlier.
