Delta Force recently launched on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Many were anticipating the free-to-play shooter, but a key feature is missing on consoles. The Black Hawk Down campaign allows players to tackle missions solo or in co-op — at least on PC.
On consoles, only the "Fight Alone" option is available at launch. Active discussions about the issue are already underway on the Steam and Discord community pages. Neither developer Team Jade nor publisher TiMi Studio Group has publicly commented on the situation yet.
"It's a shame because they promised crossplay and co-op on consoles three months ago," one Discord user wrote. "It seems we were deceived."
It's unclear whether this was done intentionally or was an oversight by the developers. Although the latter is unlikely.
